The FLX Studios Location
FLX Studios is located at 75 Josons Drive in Henrietta, just outside Rochester, at the center of the Rochester/Finger Lakes production community.
Our location is intentional.
Rochester provides the infrastructure, talent, technology, universities, businesses, and creative community of a major Upstate New York city. The surrounding Finger Lakes provide an extraordinary range of locations—from urban environments and historic architecture to farms, vineyards, lakes, forests, and small communities.
Together, they create a production region with an unusual combination of resources and locations.
FLX Studios was built to be part of that ecosystem.
Rather than requiring productions to travel to larger markets to find professional studio infrastructure, we want productions to be able to stay here, hire here, create here, and spend here.
FLX Studios is a studio for Rochester—and a production resource for the entire Finger Lakes Region.
A Strategic Location
Being close to the people, resources, and infrastructure that support production was part of the plan from the beginning.
FLX Studios is located directly across the street from the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), one of the region’s leading technology and creative institutions. Our proximity to RIT gives FLX Studios access to a deep pool of students, faculty, emerging talent, and technology-focused resources.
FLX and RIT maintain a close working relationship, creating opportunities for collaboration, education, internships, professional development, and hands-on experience for the next generation of creators and production professionals.
Easy Access for Productions and Visiting Crews
FLX Studios is approximately 13 minutes from Greater Rochester International Airport, with numerous hotels, restaurants, and everyday production-support resources—including major home improvement and supply retailers—just minutes away.
Our rental and production partners are close by as well. Gearhead Rentals, Expressway Cinema Rentals, and Applied Audio are all located within approximately 10 minutes of the studio, giving productions quick access to additional camera, lighting, grip, sound, and production resources when they need them.
The result is more than a convenient address.
It’s a production location surrounded by the resources that productions actually need.
